On 8/9/2024, at approximately 1817 hours, Seward-based AST units were dispatched to a residence in Cooper Landing near Bean Creek Rd for a report of a domestic disturbance where a female broke into a home, and caused damage to a vehicle. Investigation led to the arrest of Natalya Nichols, age 38 of Cooper Landing, for Criminal Mischief 3 and Criminal Trespass 1 after it was determined that she broke the exterior lock on a door, gained access into a family member's home, poured a honey-bucket of urine on the bed, and then collided with the family member's vehicle upon leaving. Nichols was remanded to Wildwood Pre-Trial Facility in Kenai.

Hollywood Rd. and Klutina Dr. AST responded and, through investigation, revealed that Tonimarie Marden, age 36, of Wasilla was driving under the influence. Tonimarie was arrested and transported to Palmer Pretrial and remanded.

Investigation led to the arrest of Katherine Albert who assaulted a family member causing significant injuries. The victim was Med Flighted to FMH and is stable. Katherine was arrested for DV Assault 4, 2 counts of assault 4 against responding officers, and 1 count of resisting arrest. Katherine was transported to FCC to be held without bail pending arraignment.

On 8/9/2024 at about 1700 hours, the Alaska State Troopers Criminal Suppression Unit arrested Odin King Purcupile, 43 of Fairbanks for Theft 2 after he had stolen two snowblowers from a local business in the Fairbanks area. Both snowblowers total in excess of $7000.00 and have been recovered and returned to the business. Purcupile was remanded to FCC on two Felony Counts of Theft.

On 08/09/2024, Alaska Wildlife Troopers from Kodiak post contacted Carl Lapena age, 29 of Kodiak, while he was sport fishing in Saltery Creek in Kodiak. Investigation revealed that Lapena unlawfully snagged and retained one Sockeye salmon from Saltery Creek. Lapena was issued a citation for failure to release snagged fish and the salmon was seized. The citation has a bail amount of $140.
